Georgetown Goes to Boston
This is my latest composite. I photographed downtown Georgetown from the street by the courthouse just after dark. I included moving cars to generate the red, white and amber streaks of light. I then placed the image into a photo of the Boston skyline I made during the blue hour a few years ago. I liked the fact that so many lights were on in the buildings. The sky in the image was dark but empty, so I replaced it with a sky that contained stars. I didn’t want to include the Milky Way in the sky in order to make it more realistic as city lights dim the stars in the sky.
