This bald eagle is a permanent resident at the National Eagle Center in Wabasha, MN. It was injured and is unable to return to the wild. Interestingly, Minnesota is the home to more bald eagles than any state outside of Alaska. This was a difficult shot as it was taken inside. Light on the left side came from a window. The tungsten lights inside created strong yellow cast to the right side. If my flash had worked, I wouldn't have had to use Photoshop to fix the white balance.
