Fireball Meteor
As I photographed the Milky Way over Grand Canyon National Park, I saw a fireball meteor streak through the sky. It seemed to last for a long time and I thought the streak in the photo would be much longer. When I looked at the next exposure, the meteor was in that one too so I combined the photos and cloned in the part of the meteor that was missing because of the lapse between shots.
The shot also includes some airglow. That's the green in the sky that is akin to the northern lights.
