The total eclipse of the moon early in the morning on April 15, 2014 offered a photo opportunity of a "bloody" moon. The star in the lower right is Spica, one of the brighter stars in the sky. Shot with a 400mm lens and a 1.4x multiplier at f-8, ISO 3200 at 1/2 second with a Canon 5D Mark II.
