Vernal Falls
Vernal Falls of the Merced River drops 317 feet and then cascades another 700 feet down a canyon of boulders before reaching the Valley Floor. The hike up the Mist Trail was demanding, but the opportunity to capture this photo made the effort very worthwhile.
